While the first single-layer servers have recently been deployed, Ion Hazzikostas commented on the release date of Phase 2 of Progressive Content Deployment from WoW Classic.

In an interview with PCGamer, World of Warcraft Game Director Ion Hazzikostas announced the intention of developers to deploy Phase 2 of WoW Classic's progressive Content Deployment by the beginning of 2020. No specific date however, has not been announced.
