Disney Plus has ordered the next LucasFilm animated series

Disney+ is getting a new animated “Star Wars” television series from “The Mandalorian” director and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” creator Dave Filoni.

The upcoming series, titled “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,”  will follow the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch — a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

This new series follows the "Bad Batch," a squad of experimental clones (who first appeared in "The Clone Wars) who stand out genetically from those in the Clone Army. With unique skills, each member of this gang of mercenaries makes an exceptional soldier. Furthermore,You can buy Cheap Disney Plus VIP Accounts at z2u.com by using the code “Z2U” for a 3% discount.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian director Dave Filoni will return for Star Wars: The Bad Batch as EP, alongside Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance) and Jennifer Corbett (Star Wars Resistance, NCIS) with Carrie Beck (The Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels) as co-executive producer and Josh Rimes as producer (Star Wars Resistance). Rau is also serving as supervising director with Corbett as head writer.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is set to debut on Disney Plus in 2021, but it’s by no means the only Star Wars TV series in the works for the streaming service. Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to debut on Disney Plus this fall, with a third season already said to be in development. There’s also the Diego Luna-led Rogue One focused on Rebel spy Cassian Andor, a highly anticipated Obi-Wan series starring Ewan McGregor, and a “female-centric” series coming from Leslye Headland, co-creator and showrunner for Netflix’s Russian Doll.
